A firearm assault in Corn Alley during the predawn hours of Easter Sunday has left one male victim hospitalised as detectives work to identify the attackers.

Detectives in Antigua and Barbuda are pursuing leads following a violent attack that broke out at Corn Alley shortly after midnight on Easter Sunday, April 5.

A young male sustained injuries during the gunfire and is currently receiving treatment at a medical facility. No fatalities were reported from the incident.

Investigators are continuing their efforts to locate and bring in those believed to be responsible. The constabulary is asking anyone who witnessed the event or has knowledge that might aid the inquiry to step forward.
