The attack unfolded shortly after 2:00 am along Skeetes Road. Responding officers located a male victim between two automobiles in the vicinity of a local social function. A physician attending the area assessed the individual and confirmed he had succumbed to his injuries.

A separate wounded male reached Queen Elizabeth Hospital via a privately owned vehicle for immediate treatment. Medical staff have not disclosed the severity of his wounds.
