Barbadostoday.bb reports that police are investigating the unnatural death of a woman at Emerald Park West, St Philip, following a domestic dispute in the early hours of the morning.

Officers received a call to attend a dispute between a man and a woman at a residence just before 5 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the motionless body of a female at the scene.

A man connected to the incident is currently assisting police with their investigations. He allegedly ingested a poisonous substance and was transported to hospital for medical attention.

Investigations are continuing.
