Nicholas Andre McIntosh, who had been on the run for more than five years, surrendered to authorities on Saturday, Barbados Today reports. McIntosh walked into the District 'E' Police Station accompanied by an attorney-at-law and is now assisting officers with their investigations.

The Barbados Police Service had issued a "Wanted Man" bulletin for McIntosh on April 16, 2021, in connection with serious criminal matters. No further details about the nature of those matters have been disclosed.

The Barbados Police Service issued a statement thanking the general public and the media for their assistance in locating McIntosh over the course of the five-year search.
