A man was shot dead and another wounded at Skeetes Road, Jackmans, St Michael, in the early hours of Sunday morning, barbadostoday.bb reports.

The Barbados Police Service said Operations Control received a report of the incident at approximately 2:10 a.m. Officers who responded to the scene found a male lying lifeless between two motor vehicles in the vicinity of an event. A medical doctor attended and pronounced the man dead.

A second male was conveyed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private motor car. His condition was not disclosed.
