Gunman kills Delon Asgill in Chapman Lane, St Michael; three others wounded

A 45-year-old St James man was shot dead near a shop on 3rd Avenue, Chapman Lane Wednesday night. Three others were injured in the same attack.

Fatal shooting on Chapman Lane claims life of St James man

Barbados Today reports that police have named the victim of Wednesday night's shooting in Chapman Lane, St Michael, as 45-year-old Delon Covell Asgill, of Lot 447, 16th Avenue, West Terrace, St James.

Asgill was killed shortly before 9 p.m. when a gunman opened fire on a group of men gathered near a shop along 3rd Avenue, Chapman Lane. Three other men sustained injuries in the attack and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Police investigations are ongoing.
