Detectives are investigating a sexual assault involving a juvenile female that took place off East West Highway on Sunday night, with three male suspects known to the victim currently being sought.

Authorities have opened an investigation into the sexual assault of a juvenile female that occurred off East West Highway on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

As reported by Eyewitness News, shortly before 11:00 p.m., a woman contacted police to report that her daughter, who had been at an event, called her to say she had been attacked by three males she knew. After the assault, the three individuals were seen running on foot toward the Montell Heights area.

The young victim was taken to hospital to receive medical care. Officers from the Sexual Offences Unit will carry out further inquiries into the case.

The investigation is continuing.
