Officers seized around 10 pounds of suspected hydroponic marijuana, worth an estimated $20,000 on the street, following a tip-off on Tuesday, 7th July 2026.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., members of the Drug Enforcement Unit and the Central Division carried out an inspection of the shoreline in western New Providence. During the search, they came across a large package that contained a significant quantity of suspected hydroponic marijuana.

No one was arrested in connection with the discovery.

The total weight of the suspected drugs was 10 pounds, with an estimated value of $20,000.
