A 45-year-old man was arrested Thursday at a University of Saskatchewan convocation ceremony after allegedly taking inappropriate photos of women without their consent, cbc.ca reports.

Saskatoon police said they were contacted by multiple people shortly before noon CST. When officers arrived at Merlis Belsher Place, U of S Protective Services — the campus law enforcement and security agency — was already detaining a man matching the suspect's description. He was subsequently arrested and charged with voyeurism.

In a notification to students, the university confirmed the arrest and noted that supports are available for anyone affected. It also reminded students that Protective Services operates 24/7 and can escort individuals to their parked vehicle or any other campus location.
