Anti-drug operation in Quebec City: four arrests and 3,500 g of cocaine seized

According to sq.gouv.qc.ca, the National Organised Crime Reduction Squad (ENRCO), in collaboration with the Quebec City Police Service, carried out arrests and searches in Quebec City on 17 March as part of an investigation into drug trafficking.

Four men, aged between 32 and 37, were apprehended. All were released following their questioning, pending the continuation of judicial proceedings.

Investigators searched three residences and three vehicles. Seizures included just over 3,500 grammes of cocaine, nearly $15,000 in Canadian currency, approximately $300 in American currency, and five mobile phones.

The ENRCO has a mandate to target the heads of organised crime, notably full-patch members of the Hells Angels. The squad brings together police officers from the Sûreté du Québec, the Quebec City Police Service, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the Lévis Police Service.
