A coordinated strike by Quebec law enforcement has produced significant results in the fight against drug trafficking and armed violence, with the discovery of a substantial narcotics cache and multiple weapons at a home in the provincial capital.

The raid was carried out by an integrated weapons-trafficking task force comprising personnel from the Sûreté du Québec, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Montreal Police, Canada Border Services Agency, Quebec City Police, and Lévis Police. The joint effort forms part of an inquiry that began in the autumn of 2025, focusing on a group suspected of dealing in both controlled substances and firearms within the Quebec City area.

During the search of the property on Avenue de la Lande, investigators uncovered an air-powered rifle, a .22-caliber carbine that had been reported stolen according to the national firearms registry, a handgun replica, and a pair of nunchucks. In terms of narcotics, officers confiscated roughly six thousand methamphetamine tablets. Cash amounting to nearly one thousand Canadian dollars was also recovered, along with a mobile device and bookkeeping records.

A 33-year-old male occupant was taken into custody at the location. He was subsequently released while the investigation continues.
