A young woman sought in connection with a fatal June assault in Toronto gave herself up to investigators over the weekend.

Dzsenifer Olah, aged 25, is now in custody after walking into a police station on Sunday, the Toronto Sun reported. Authorities had previously identified her as the third person accused over the death of Erik Safar, a 32-year-old local man, on June 14.

Two male suspects are already facing homicide charges alongside her.

The fatal encounter occurred in the early hours of June 14 near Keele Street and Wilson Avenue. Officers arriving at the scene found a brawl in progress; during the altercation, one adult male was beaten and subsequently run over by a car. Emergency responders attempted resuscitation, but the victim was declared dead on site.

The assailants reportedly escaped in a pale-coloured automobile. The exact number of people who fled remains unclear.
