Arrest warrant issued against Denis Beaupré for murder of Charalambos Theologou in Laval

The Quebec police force has issued an arrest warrant against Denis Beaupré, 54, suspected of murdering Charalambos Theologou in Laval on 1 October 2025.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) has issued an arrest warrant targeting Denis Beaupré, a 54-year-old man residing in Laval, in connection with the murder of Charalambos Theologou, which occurred on 1 October 2025 in the Chomedey neighbourhood.

According to sq.gouv.qc.ca, it was the SQ's Department of Investigations into Crimes Against Persons that issued this warrant. Denis Beaupré has been missing since 5 October 2025.

In addition to the murder, the man is suspected of having intentionally discharged a firearm without regard for the life or safety of others.

On 6 May, a police operation was carried out on a property and in a residence in Vankleek Hill, Ontario, in connection with Beaupré's disappearance.
