Montreal police (SPVM) are seeking the public's help in locating Christopher Watts, a 66-year-old sex offender unlawfully at large, montreal.citynews.ca reports.

Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requested SPVM assistance after Watts allegedly violated the conditions of his supervised release. The SPVM's Sex Offender Surveillance Team (ESDS) has been assigned to support the CSC investigation.

Watts was in the Montreal area at the time of the reported breach. Investigators believe he may still be in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada.

He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of the breach, he was wearing a black hat, prescription glasses, a dark short-sleeved shirt, grey pants, and dark-coloured shoes.

Anyone with information on Watts's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or visit their local police station. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Info-Crime Montréal by phone at 514-393-1133 or online. Rewards of up to $5,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest, subject to certain conditions.
