Murder suspect arrested, second wanted in Niagara Falls killing
A 37-year-old man died in hospital after being assaulted by two suspects on Lundy's Lane. One man is in custody; police are still searching for the second.
Niagara Falls homicide: one arrested, another at large after man dies of injuries
One man is in custody and a second remains wanted in connection with the death of Matthew McAra, 37, of Niagara Falls, Toronto Sun Crime reports.
Officers from Niagara Regional Police responded at approximately 6:20 p.m. last Thursday to a business on Lundy's Lane near Hanan Avenue, where they found a male victim without vital signs. Paramedics administered life-saving measures before transporting him to hospital with serious injuries. McAra died on Monday.
Police allege he was attacked by two suspects who fled the scene after the assault. Investigators have described the incident as targeted.
Alexander Piccirillo, 46, was arrested Tuesday and remains in custody pending a bail hearing. Brandon Fitzgerald, 31, is still at large. Oshawa man charged with drugging and sexually assaulting woman met on Snapchat
An Oshawa man faces multiple charges after a woman told Durham Regional Police she was drugged and sexually assaulted at a residence she had visited after meeting the suspect on Snapchat.
Officers responded to a call in the Bond St. E.–Wilson Rd. N. area on Saturday. The victim reported that she had agreed to go to the man's residence and alleged she was given a noxious substance during the evening. She contacted police after regaining consciousness during the assault. Officers located her outside the residence and took her to hospital, where the presence of noxious substances in her system was confirmed.
Nicholas Paul LaFrance, 23, was taken into custody without incident. He faces charges of sexual assault, administering a noxious substance and forcible confinement.
Police have stated they are concerned additional victims may exist. Four charged in Mississauga firearms and drug investigation
Peel Regional Police have charged four individuals following a firearms and drug trafficking investigation in Mississauga.
On September 7, officers responded to reports of a man with a gun in a vehicle in the Hurontario St.–Dundas St. W. area. A suspect was located and found to be allegedly in possession of an illegal firearm and a magazine loaded with ammunition. Officers also seized suspected cocaine and fentanyl with an estimated street value of $65,000.
A subsequent search warrant executed at a Mississauga residence led to three further arrests.
Olamilekan Jimoh, 26, of Mississauga, faces four firearm-related charges, four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of failure to comply with an undertaking. Cleo Romi Reynolds, 45, of Toronto, is charged with failure to comply with a release order. Modupe Abijo, 52, and Omobodunrin Jimoh, 28, both of Mississauga, each face four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Hamilton underground parking garage
Hamilton Police are investigating after a male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in an underground parking garage at 100 King St. W. on Monday at around 10 p.m.
A 2017 Acura Integra allegedly struck the man as the driver was exiting the facility. The pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking witnesses to come forward and urging motorists who were in the area at the time to check their dashcam footage. Residents and businesses with surveillance cameras in the vicinity are also asked to review recordings.
