A 58-year-old Barrie, Ont., ride-share driver has been charged with two counts of sexual assault following an alleged incident involving a passenger in Wasaga Beach, ctvnews.ca reports.

Officers were called around 2 a.m. Sunday after a report of a sexual assault. The victim and the accused were not previously known to each other, police say.

The man was held for a bail hearing and is expected to appear in court this July.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to call 1-888-310-1122.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
