The violent incident took place on May 31. First responders discovered Anthony Taylor, aged 28, lifeless at the apartment location after receiving emergency calls about discharged firearms.

A single man, 30 years old, was apprehended in the immediate aftermath.

Subsequently, detectives sought the remaining suspects through warrants distributed across the entire country. All seven have now been captured. Each originates from communities surrounding Toronto.

A pair among the detained group will answer to supplementary accusations alongside the homicide charge.

This killing represents the twelfth slaying in the municipality during the current calendar year.
