Langley shooting victim airlifted after late-afternoon incident
One person was flown by air to hospital with serious injuries following a shooting in Langley on Wednesday, Vancouver Sun Crime reports.
Langley RCMP said the incident was reported just after 5 p.m. in the area of 196 Street and 28 Avenue. Const. Meghan Marsden of Langley RCMP confirmed in a statement that one person was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police have not released further details, including information about the victim, a possible motive, or whether investigators are searching for any suspects.
"This investigation is in its infancy, and additional details will be made available at a later time," Marsden said.
