Officers from Peel Regional Police responded to reports of gunfire around 3:40 p.m. in the area of Earlsbridge Blvd. and Edenbrook Hill Dr. Paramedics transported one patient to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to police, two suspects wearing black clothing fled on foot. No further descriptions of the individuals were provided.
