Law enforcement detained thirteen suspects during night-time operations in built-up areas on Thursday. The arrests covered a spectrum of alleged wrongdoing: pretending to be someone else, working without authorization, skipping a court date, torching a motorbike, plus assorted road infractions.

Throughout the operation, officers pulled over 1,084 motorists and 297 riders or passengers for checks. Thirty-six buildings were also searched at the same time in an anti-crime push, generating two reports.

Road-safety inspections alone produced 816 citations. Excessive speed drew 208 penalties, and another 109 drivers were fined for holding phones while at the wheel. Nine cars or bikes were confiscated during the checks.

Officers administered 173 breath tests for alcohol, which led to eleven violations. Separately, two drivers failed preliminary narcotics screenings.
