A male aged 40 was taken into custody on Monday over allegations of involvement in a December 2025 shop robbery in Nicosia where funds were stolen.

On Monday, law enforcement officers took a 40-year-old male into custody. Judicial authorities had previously issued an order for his apprehension in relation to a retail premises intrusion that occurred in Nicosia on December 20 of last year. During the incident, an undisclosed sum of money was removed from the establishment.

The warrant was issued after detectives collected statements during their inquiries that implicated the individual in the offence.
