Officers from the drug unit carried out a raid and found several kilogrammes of cocaine stashed inside a residence. The haul included multiple packages of the drug, cash, a weapon, and vehicles without plates.

A police operation targeting a 36-year-old male led to the discovery of more than three kilogrammes of cocaine hidden inside his house on Tuesday.

As reported by the Cyprus Mail, members of the drug squad located the stash following systematic inquiries and observations of the individual's behaviour during questioning. The illicit substance was divided into numerous parcels: a pair holding 2.22kg combined, thirty smaller plastic pouches weighing 977g collectively, and one extra packet of 31g.

Alongside the drugs, investigators confiscated seven bundles of firecrackers, four thousand euros in banknotes, a weighing scale, and a gun. They also seized two motorbikes with no licence plates and an automobile present at the location.

Authorities arrested the man and secured an eight-day detention order.
