Singer Cristian Pomohaci will not be released from preventive custody in the near future, after his legal team's appeals were definitively rejected by judges in both cases on the docket, according to TVR Info.
The first decision was issued on Thursday by Mureș County Court, which found the deprivation of liberty measure for 30 days imposed by judges in Târgu Mureș to be justified. The artist is being investigated in a case involving sexual offences, and his appeal against the ruling from 4 June 2026 was declared unfounded.
One day earlier, the Târgu Mureș Court of Appeal also rejected the performer's other appeal, related to a case in which prosecutors are investigating him for the trafficking of high-risk drugs.
The two investigations began following raids carried out at two properties belonging to the singer. Law enforcement officers seized 20 grams of narcotic substance (3 CMC) and nearly two million euros, money found in several denominations.
Given that both rulings are final, Pomohaci will continue to remain behind bars during the course of the criminal investigation.
