Elizabeth "Liz" Waddell, 44, from Cary, North Carolina, has been missing since Wednesday, 22 July, according to wwaytv3.com. Waddell was vacationing with a friend in the Grand Anse Beach area of St. George's, Grenada, when she disappeared.

The Royal Grenada Police Force confirmed that surveillance footage shows Waddell entering the water for a swim but does not capture her returning to shore.

At a news conference on Tuesday, a Grenada police commissioner stated that Waddell remains missing and that the investigation continues to be treated as a missing person case.
