Cannabis and Cocaine Worth €1.95m Seized at Dublin Port, Two Charged

Revenue officers made a significant seizure at Dublin Port last Sunday, according to breakingnews.ie, recovering approximately 80.5 kilograms of cannabis and five kilograms of cocaine with a combined estimated value of €1.95 million. Officers also recovered €143,900 in cash.

A man and a woman, both in their 30s, were arrested in connection with the operation. They are being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda station in Dublin.

Both individuals have since been charged in relation to the investigation and are due to appear before Dublin District Court on Tuesday.
