Gardaí seize €114k in cash, phones and counterfeit clothing in west Dublin raids

Gardaí raided two west Dublin properties targeting intellectual property crime, seizing €88,130 in cash, mobile phones and roughly €26,000 in counterfeit clothing.

West Dublin properties raided over intellectual property crime

RTÉ News reports that gardaí have seized cash, mobile phones and counterfeit clothing following searches at two properties in west Dublin.

The searches, carried out on Friday by the Intellectual Property Unit at the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation, yielded €88,130 in cash and mobile phones, along with counterfeit clothing valued at approximately €26,000.

The suspected counterfeit items are now subject to examination. Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
