Driver charged following Newtownstewart crash

A motorist aged 20 will appear before Strabane Magistrate's Court in July following a vehicle collision in Newtownstewart, County Tyrone, that took place on Monday.

Officers in Strabane laid charges including operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or narcotics, aggravated unauthorised use of a vehicle resulting in damage to a second car, and driving without insurance coverage.

The accused is set to appear in court on 16 July.
