A coordinated effort between police and customs personnel resulted in the discovery of a significant quantity of suspected cannabis during a roadside check in County Kildare on June 23rd.

Officers halted and examined two automobiles, recovering roughly 32 kilograms of herbal cannabis valued at approximately €640,000. The haul prompted the detention of three suspects ranging in age from their 30s to 40s.

Each of the accused has already appeared before a judge, while detectives continue to build their file on the matter.
