Google News IE — Crime (en) reports that two men in their 20s have appeared before Dún Laoghaire District Court charged with assault causing harm following an incident at an apartment complex in Clonskeagh on Monday, 6 July.

Hicham Djerbi and Achour Ingrachen, both with an address at 26 Friarsland Crescent, Roebuck Road, Clonskeagh, each face two charges of assault causing harm to two men at the same address. The charges are brought under Section 3 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act, 1997.

Djerbi faces an additional charge of drug possession under Section 3 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1977.

The court heard that both men were taken to Blackrock Garda Station for questioning on 7 July before being formally charged. Garda Stephen Maguire gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution.

Both accused were represented by solicitor Andrew Vallely. There was no objection to bail. Judge Conor Fottrell granted bail on condition that the two men surrender their passports and sign on weekly at Dundrum Garda Station.

They are next due before the court on 11 January 2027 for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A third man in his 20s, also arrested in connection with the incident, has been separately charged and was due to appear before a court later the same day.
