A pair of suspects — aged in their 30s and 40s — were apprehended in connection with the find. They remain in custody at a north Dublin Garda station under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Law enforcement officials indicate that enquiries into the matter are continuing.
