A woman who worked at a front desk in central Dublin has given evidence about the turmoil she witnessed on the afternoon a child was attacked near Parnell Square.
Testifying at the Central Criminal Court, the employee stated that she heard voices shouting that a youngster had been fatally wounded. She described disorder breaking out on the pavement outside her office as the violent episode unfolded.
The witness further informed judges that she noticed a male speaking in a hostile tone during the same period. Her testimony forms part of the judicial examination into the assault that took place at the capital city location.
