Police in the Federation have brought two criminal counts against a local woman in connection with allegedly counterfeit documents, The St Kitts Nevis Observer reports.

Judymar Rodriguez, who lives at Marriott Residences, was taken into custody at the Basseterre Police Station on March 18, 2026. She faces allegations that she both manufactured a fake official document and presented it for use.

According to investigators, the purported offenses occurred two days earlier, on March 16, 2026. Authorities have not yet revealed what kind of document was involved or what prompted the probe that led to Rodriguez's arrest.

The matter is being handled as a case of paperwork-related deception under local law.
