Another young man has been added to the list of accused in the deadly shooting of a 25-year-old in Ciceron, Castries.

Germaine Ishonn Joseph, aged 21, was brought before the First District Court on Wednesday. He had been formally accused the previous day of murdering Givanni Andrew Joseph, widely known by the nickname "Zuzu". The magistrate ordered that he remain at the Bordelais Correctional Facility until a hearing scheduled for July 14.

The victim lost his life on February 21 at a spot called The Gulf in Ciceron.

Authorities captured Germaine Joseph during a coordinated law enforcement sweep in Wilton's Yard, Castries, carried out on May 28.

He joins three others already facing charges over the same killing: Sanjay Papius, 23, who goes by "Stickman"; Mayim King, 25, also called "Smiley"; and Vonnelle Degazon, 20.
