Momentum Demands Action After Repeated Election Banner Thefts

Election banners belonging to Momentum have been stolen for a second time in two days in St Julian's, the party reported, with the incidents occurring just days before polling day, Lovin Malta reports.

The party described the repeated targeting of its campaign material as unacceptable, stating that it directly undermines the democratic process and the right of political parties to campaign freely and without interference.

Momentum has called on the authorities to investigate the thefts without delay, pointing out that public CCTV cameras are present in the area and should allow those responsible to be identified.

The party stressed that political intimidation and vandalism have no place in a democratic society.
