A member of the hotel's private protection team reacted swiftly, cornering the alleged wrongdoer and blocking any path of escape. When KPSM patrol units reached the site, they took the person into custody smoothly, with no additional disturbances.

Afterward, the affected traveler went to the authorities to lodge an official grievance. Investigators managed to locate the stolen item and restore it to the traveler.

The detained person remains behind bars as inquiries progress. Detectives have not excluded the chance that other people could be involved.
