Tobago has registered its ninth killing of 2025 after a 26-year-old man was discovered dead in Delaford.

The victim has been named as Jerome Woods, who lived on King Street in the same community. He was employed as a sanitation worker with the Division of Health at the Tobago House of Assembly.

Law enforcement officials stated that information about the circumstances of the death remains limited, and investigators are still present at the location.

Last year, Tobago saw 26 murders, the majority of which involved firearms.
