Two shot near Oxford Street, Port of Spain — woman critical
A 24-year-old woman was hospitalised in critical condition and a 25-year-old man in stable condition after a shooting in Port of Spain on Wednesday night.

A 24-year-old woman remains in critical condition and a 25-year-old man was treated for gunshot wounds to both legs after both were shot in Port of Spain on Wednesday night, guardian.co.tt reports.
Officers from the Inter Agency Task Force's Charford Court Base received a report of a shooting near Oxford Street at approximately 8:05 pm. On arriving at the scene, they discovered a black Nissan Tiida with the injured man seated in the front passenger seat and the woman behind the driver's seat.
Police transported both victims to hospital, where the man was treated for wounds to both legs and later listed in stable condition. The woman remained warded in critical condition.
Members of the Port of Spain Division and the Crime Scene Investigation Unit processed the scene and recovered 22 spent shell casings of various calibres, including 9 mm, 5.56 and 7.63.
Officers from the Port of Spain CID are continuing enquiries.
