Woman shot in arm on Observatory Street, east Port of Spain

A 39-year-old woman was struck by gunfire on Observatory Street in east Port of Spain on Thursday evening. Her husband drove her to hospital; police found no suspects.

Woman shot while sitting in parked van in east Port of Spain

According to newsday.co.tt, a 39-year-old Port of Spain woman sustained a gunshot wound to her right arm during a shooting in east Port of Spain on Thursday night.

Police said the woman and her husband were seated in a parked van on Observatory Street, near Harpe Place, at around 7.05 pm when gunmen opened fire on them.

The husband drove his wife to the Port of Spain General Hospital following the attack.

Members of the Port of Spain Task Force responded to the area in search of the gunmen but found no one. The Port of Spain CID is continuing enquiries.
