Gloucester drug dealer jailed for 7 years after £100k cash and heroin haul

Gloucester man sentenced for large-scale heroin and cocaine supply

Mohammed Bham, 37, of no fixed address but from Gloucester, has been jailed for seven years and three months at Gloucester Crown Court following a Gloucestershire Police investigation into Class A drug supply, bbc.co.uk reports.

Bham had previously pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug — heroin and cocaine — and one count of possession of criminal property.

Officers arrested Bham on 11 February after receiving intelligence that he was supplying drugs in the area. He was detained as he left a rented property in Barnwood, Gloucester, and stepped into a Mercedes parked outside.

A search of the Barnwood property uncovered quantities of cocaine and heroin alongside approximately £3,000 in cash. Investigators then established that Bham was also renting two self-storage units in Gloucester. Those units yielded a bag containing around £100,000 in cash, further Class A drugs, several air pistols, two crossbows and two machetes.

In total, police seized approximately 755g of cocaine and 625g of heroin — a combined estimated street value of around £100,000.

Detective Inspector Matt Dill, from Gloucestershire Constabulary's serious and organised crime unit, said Bham had been "discreetly supplying large quantities of Class A drugs into Gloucestershire for significant personal financial gain."

Dill added: "His conviction and sentence reflect the skilful and diligent work of the investigation team, and our commitment to tackling serious and organised crime within Gloucestershire and bringing those who seek to benefit from dealing drugs to justice."
