Twelve men charged with child sex offences in Warwickshire investigation

Twelve men charged over child sexual exploitation spanning four counties
Twelve men have been charged in connection with child sex offences involving a female victim aged between 11 and 14, bbc.co.uk reports. The alleged offences are said to have taken place across Warwickshire, Yorkshire, Newcastle upon Tyne and Darlington between 2018 and 2021.
All 12 men, aged between 20 and 30, were postally requisitioned to face charges last week, Warwickshire Police said. They are due to appear at Leamington Magistrates' Court on 29 August.
The following charges have been set out by police:
- Teddy Jones, 23, of Smorrall Lane, Bedworth — sexual exploitation of a child, possession and distribution of indecent images of children
- Michael Wilshire, 23, of Mile Tree Lane, Coventry — sexual exploitation of a child
- William Evans, 23, of Long Lane, Walsall — sexual exploitation of a child
- John Jenkins, 22, of Lime Lane, Walsall — rape of a child
- Henry Brazil, 22, of Hessam Heights, Morecambe — sexual exploitation of a child and distribution of indecent images of children
- Jack Forrest, 21, of Shilton Lane, Coventry — rape of a child and sexual activity with a child
- Billy Maguire, 20, of Treswell Cottnum Road, Tresswell — rape of a child and sexual activity with a child
- George Flannigan, 21, of The Mead, Darlington — rape of a child under 13 and distribution of indecent images of children
- Louis Gaskin, 22, of Windmill Lane, Balsall Common — possession of indecent images of children
- Henry Gaskin, 20, of Measham Road, Oakthorne, Swadlincote — possession of indecent images of children
- Charlie Lee, 30, of Mile Tree Lane, Coventry — possession and distribution of indecent images of children
- Richard Lee, 22, of Westbourne Grove, Selby, North Yorkshire — possession of indecent images of children
