Lincoln man jailed 10 years for child rape facilitation and indecent images
Marc Gothorp, 45, was sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court after pleading guilty to arranging child rape and possessing over 1,850 indecent images.
Lincoln man sentenced for child sexual offences
Marc Gothorp, 45, from Lincoln, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to a series of serious sexual offences against children, bbc.co.uk reports.
Gothorp was sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday. His charges included arranging or facilitating the commission of the rape of a child under 13, an offence committed in October 2025.
He also admitted making and distributing indecent images of children. More than 1,850 of those images fell into the most serious category.
In addition to the custodial sentence, Gothorp was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order.
