Third man arrested for murder of missing Nuneaton woman Katie Love, 48

A third man has been arrested over the suspected murder of Katie Love, 48, missing since 23 February. Two earlier suspects were released pending further investigation.

Third arrest in disappearance of Nuneaton woman missing since February

A 54-year-old man from Nuneaton has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Katie Love, 48, who has been missing since 23 February, bbc.co.uk reports.

Warwickshire Police said the man was detained on 26 March and bailed until June. Two other men, aged 48 and 49, who had previously been arrested on suspicion of murder, were released pending further investigation.

Love, originally from Nuneaton, was last reported seen by family on 23 February. Police say she has connections to Skegness but is well known across the Nuneaton, Hartshill and Kingsbury areas of Warwickshire.

Officers had previously appealed for information regarding a silver Peugeot 206, which detectives believe was linked to her disappearance. The force confirmed it subsequently received a call and located the vehicle, though Love herself has not been found.

She was last seen wearing a long, light brown puffer jacket, boots and a tracksuit.

The charity Crimestoppers is continuing to offer a reward of £1,000 for information leading to the missing woman being found.
