Man stabbed to death in Birmingham's Sparkbrook; four arrested

A man in his 40s was fatally stabbed on Walford Road, Sparkbrook, on Thursday evening. Four people from Bristol have been arrested in connection with the killing.

Fatal stabbing in Sparkbrook triggers murder inquiry

Four people have been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a man in Birmingham on Thursday, bbc.com reports.

West Midlands Police were called to Walford Road, Sparkbrook, at around 18:20 BST after reports of a stabbing. The victim, believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead approximately 40 minutes later.

A 29-year-old man from Bristol was arrested on suspicion of murder the same evening. Three further individuals, also from Bristol, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Police have appealed for anyone with information or video footage from the area at the time of the attack to come forward.
