Three arrested in Anglesey cocaine and cannabis raids across Holyhead and Valley

Police executed four drug warrants in Holyhead and Valley on Thursday, arresting three people and seizing suspected cocaine and cannabis.

North Wales Police carried out four simultaneous property searches in the Holyhead and Valley areas of Anglesey on Thursday 4 June, arresting three people on suspicion of drug supply, dailypost.co.uk reports.

The operation formed part of a targeted day of action against drug distribution on the island. Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted the warrants following proactive investigation and intelligence gathering, according to a police spokesperson.

"The warrants resulted in three arrests being made in connection with drug supply," the spokesperson said. "They have since been interviewed and released under investigation whilst our enquiries continue." Quantities of suspected cocaine and cannabis were seized during the searches.

PC Andrew Jones linked the operation directly to local concerns. "These results come after community concerns about the supply of cocaine and ketamine in the area," he said. "People who bring drugs into our communities do not care about the pain and misery they cause, only the profit they can make from exploiting vulnerable people."

Jones thanked residents for the information that led to the raids. "We thank members of the public for their continued support and information that helps us to take drugs off the streets of Anglesey," he added, urging people to continue reporting concerns about drug supply to police.
