Evidence Takes Center Stage at Hearing for Alleged Charlie Kirk Shooter
A Utah law enforcement agent testified that the man accused of shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk made four separate visits to the university campus on the day of the attack, according to Fox News.
Special Agent David Hull of the Utah State Bureau of Investigation told the court that Tyler Robinson was present at Utah Valley University on three occasions on September 10, 2025 — once before the shooting, during the incident itself, and again later that night into the early hours of September 11.
Investigators used campus surveillance footage to track Robinson's movements throughout the day. The video evidence formed a key part of Monday's court proceedings as prosecutors began laying out their case.
Robinson is accused of targeting Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, during an appearance at the university. The shooting drew national attention and sparked debates over political violence.
The hearing focused on the strength of the evidence against Robinson, with prosecutors presenting surveillance data to establish his presence at the scene. Defense attorneys have the opportunity to challenge this evidence as the case proceeds.
Further hearings are expected as both sides continue to examine the surveillance footage and other materials gathered during the investigation.
