At least eight individuals were injured during a shooting incident that took place on the evening of July 4 in the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Among those hurt were four minors, according to information reported by ABC News and cited by România Liberă.

The wounded included two adult males, aged 33 and 37, two women aged 21 and 25, and four boys aged 6, 7, 12, and 14. Emergency crews transported all victims to nearby hospitals for treatment.

According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), seven of the injured individuals were listed in stable condition. However, the 21-year-old woman remained in critical condition following the attack.

Law enforcement officials recovered a firearm at the scene of the incident. As of the time of reporting, no arrests had been announced, and police were continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
