Physicians assessed the wounds as chemical burns accompanied by skin damage. The condition of all patients was stable, with no mortal danger reported. A 21-year-old victim sustained second-degree burns to her facial area and head. Other casualties presented with skin irritation and peeling resulting from exposure to the hazardous material. Law enforcement withheld the names of those affected and specifics about individual trauma severity.

Police disclosed the apprehension of three young females — thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen years old — linked to the offense. Prosecutors filed charges of aggravated assault using a dangerous instrument, since the corrosive compound qualified as a weapon capable of inflicting substantial physical harm. The detentions happened on June 16 and 17, but officials delayed public notification for approximately four weeks.
