Four Armed Men Threaten Family with Children and Open Fire on Home in San Germán

A couple and four minors were threatened at gunpoint when four armed individuals burst into the Residencial El Recreo housing complex in San Germán late Wednesday night.

According to the police report, the incident occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. at Building 28 of the residential complex. The victim told authorities that the attackers, armed with handguns, pointed their weapons directly at her and her spouse while the four children watched the scene unfold.

When the woman managed to shut the door of the dwelling, the assailants retaliated by firing their weapons outside the residence. The bullets struck a 2010 Mazda 3 vehicle parked at the location, damaging it completely.

No gunshot injuries to people have been reported so far. Officers attached to the San Germán Police District are conducting the investigation to identify and locate those responsible for the attack.
