Two Cyber Crime Suspects Arrested in Grenada County, Mississippi

Cyber Fraud Suspects Pulled Over on I-55, Skimmers and Cash Seized
Wcbi.com reports that two individuals wanted in connection with cyber crimes across multiple states have been taken into custody in Grenada County, Mississippi.
The Grenada County Sheriff's Office, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office Economic Crimes Unit, and the Mississippi Attorney General's Office Cyber Crime Division – Cyber Fraud Task Force were alerted to a white Toyota Highlander bearing Virginia license plates traveling north on I-55 near Holmes and Carroll Counties.
Authorities indicated the vehicle's occupants were wanted for cyber crimes allegedly committed in Texas, Louisiana, and possibly additional states. Grenada County deputies stopped the vehicle and arrested the two suspects, identified as Cosmin Vaduva and Elena Caldareasa.
A search of the vehicle yielded numerous documents, thousands of dollars in cash, credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, various financial instruments, and three overlay skimmers.
Vaduva and Caldareasa are currently held at the Grenada County Jail on local charges. Both are awaiting extradition to Louisiana.
