Police in Puerto Rico are investigating the violent death of a 27-year-old man discovered with gunshot wounds inside a car in the Piñas neighborhood of Comerío.

Authorities in Puerto Rico are probing a homicide after discovering a man shot dead inside a vehicle in the Piñas neighborhood of Comerío on Sunday.

Investigators identified the victim as Jan J. Fuentes Guzmán, aged 27. According to preliminary reports, officers found his body with fatal gunshot wounds in the interior of an automobile.

Officials noted that Fuentes Guzmán had no prior criminal record. A relative assisted authorities in confirming his identity.

Agent Ángel Torres, assigned to the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) in Aibonito, is leading the inquiry alongside prosecutor Nailimar Arroyo. They are conducting the corresponding investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killing.
